CHAMBER MUSIC WORKSHOP

Welcome to the Kalamazoo Chamber Music Workshop.
Our goal is to provide a chamber/orchestra experience for middle school age students, working with the best professional musicians in the area.
The Kalamazoo Chamber Music Workshop is a one week Summer workshop, usually held the 3rd week in June. Students range from 5th grade through 9th grade and should have at least one year of private study with a qualified teacher.
Following an initial orchestra rehearsal on Sunday afternoon, the daily schedule for the week consists of theory, small ensembles, and full orchestra.
The week concludes with a final concert on Friday evening with participation from every student.
